We are Strata Vocal Ensemble

Strata Vocal Ensemble began in 2005 with a group of friends from various choirs who loved to sing, laugh, and perform a wide variety of music. We give two or three concerts a year.

We have maintained a communal approach both to programming and to musical interpretation throughout, knowing that working together will always make for a better performance.

Our Conductor

Philip Sarabura is our amazing and talented conductor. He has been with Strata Vocal Ensemble since the fall of 2022

A native of Southern Ontario, Philip has been active as a professional musician for decades, having had a particular interest in three areas of performance: conducting, playing the violin, and being a church organist.
